seeing computers on different segments

I have a 2000 Professional machine running Novell Client 4.8 and is part of a helpdesk. Will eventually migrate to 2000. All customers are Windows 98 on two Segments or two different Gateways with static IP. When I go into My Network Places I canonly see the computers on my segment or gateway. I do a search on computer name for the other gateway and no results. The same search using the IP I get good data. How can I see computers on both segments or gateways?
