Seeking help with PC/Domain Problem

(WinXP) Has anyone encountered a PC on a network having this problem? The PC was in the domain. It can “surf the net” but will not display servers. You cannot remove it from the domain via my computer, properties, computer name–at this point, the “Change” button is grayed out. Any suggestions from anyone?
