Serial interface numerical keypad [DATACOMP]

I have a numerical keypad. I opened the enclosure box [3.5×5″] and the chip inside say’s DATACOMP KP517CA. on the rear of the PC board it say’s “KPS17C”, NO. 1611017089. It has a coord with a serial plug on it.
I need to use it like a regular numerical keypad running off of a windows based pc, and I need the driver [I think]. Any help is apreciated!
