Servers? Same name or different computer

I am currently building/installing a NT4 server. I am installing it as a BDC on my domain. Should it have a different server name or the same server name if I am looking at making this my PDC as soon as I get it online? I also run Exchange 5.5 and will be adding this to Exchange to move mailboxes over. Thanks for any help.
