I have two clients, both of whom are running Windows 2000 Pro on Pentium machines (P2 or better). Both machines have ISP connections installed and have NIC cards that are configured to connect to the LAN/domain when they are in the office. We wantthem to be able to connect via VPN from remote sites. We set up VPN connections. When the users try to connect to our domain from a remote site they appear to be verified, but when they attempt to browse the domain all they can see is their local machine. The domain they are trying to connect to is NT 4.0, with an NT DNS server whose address is correctly setup in the VPN’s TCP/IP properties. The users have their domain logins setup on the local machine and should have all rights to the network. We have no RAS or VPN server per se; instead connection requests are filtered at the router. What are we missing? Thanks.
