Setup cannot find my SCSI harddrive

Install Windows NT 4.0 but it says it cannot find my harddrive. During boot up it shows my Adaptec 29160 SCSI Adapter and the harddrive (I can format the harddrive using the SCSI utilities), but NT setup keeps saying that it cannot find the harddrive. I tried manually selecting my mass storage device, but it says that device is not present in my machine. It does find my IDE CD-ROM fine.
