Setup the phone ring when I am on line

I got one Toshiba notebook running win95; one desktop PC running win 98. When I use Toshiba for DUN, the phone will ring when there is a incoming call; but desktop won’t do it. Hope anybody know how to setup the phone ringing function, then I won’t miss any phone call.
We only have one phone line.
