SHDOCLC.DLL

I cannot access the Internet via one of my computers due to receiving an error on the above .dll file. From the research I’ve done, it appears that this was a “bad” file provided by MS for IE (I currently have IE Version 5.00.2314.1003) on the PC Iam having difficulty with. I’ve done several things such as reinstalling Win ’98/IE, deleting the file, however I am still receiving this message. Has anyone had this problem and if you successfully fixed it, would you pls share what you’ve done?
