Sidewinder 3D Pro Not Connected

Ok, Its probably been asked before but…. Joystick works fine on my other PC (AMD 450 Win98SE) but will not work on my other PC (T-Bird 800 A7V Win98SE Direct X 8.0). I’ve looked around and downloaded the latest drivers 3.02 and the sw3dpro.vxd patch but still comes up with Not Connected message. I know the port works on my Soundblaseter Live, so thats not the problem. I have heard that installing the original 1.0 drivers MAY fix the problem but haven’t had a chance to download them yet. Any other Ideas ????
