I have a Dell M70 which I am about to upgrade to a Dell M6300. The M70 is a single processor EIDE machine, the M6300 is a dual processor SATA machine.
Is there any way to quickly ghost my EIDE drive to a SATA drive that will work (boot correctly) on the M6300. I have a LOT of applications and data that I would prefer not to move by hand.
I can ghost to the SATA drive using external USB (I did that to upgrade my EIDE drive), but I am afraid that it will not boot because the configurations are so different.
