size of store.exe for Exchange 2000

I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions as to what size my store.exe should be for Exchange 2000 with roughly 300 users, max 40 using Exchange at one time, limit of 6 MB per mailbox. I have a size that sits in the 900 MB range and was wondering if that is normal?? If not..what could be causing the ballooning size?
