sleep and hibernate modes in Win 2000

by skulld . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

If you set up Task Scheduler to perform a Disk Defrag, Virus Scan, or any of a number of other functions and the computers Sleep Mode is turned on… It must be turned off with Win 95 and Win 98 for the Task Scheduler to kick in and the functions tooperate normally.

Since I have not used Win 2k yet. I am wondering if anyone knows whether you have to disable the Sleep and Hibernate modes in Win 2k to have the Task Scheduler kick in if the Sleep and or Hibernate Modes are enabled?
