slow boot – startup controls

win 98 had a great utility “windiag” for selecting which startup items you wanted to launch.

Cannot find such control tool in win 2000
& hoping to avoid using regedit.

Anyone know how to control startup items?
also hope don’t have to use mccsnap-in manager ( Arghhhh!)
