SLOW PRINITING

We have a printer connected to LPT1 port on a win98 workstation and shared as a network printer. When we print Purchase Orders generated using Sunsytems locally the printer prints very slowly but when we print the same purchase order from another workstation through the network the printer prints very fast. When we connect the same printer to another workstation and share on the network it prints slowly locally and fast on the network.

We have change the parallel interface cable but the problem remain the same. This is a problem that I have never experienced before and anybody with ideas how we can fix the problem is welcome to share with us. Thanks Douglas
