SMS Install on Primary Site errors

I’m trying to install SMS 2.0 w/ SQL 7.0 on NT 4.0 SP6 server. All appears to be going well until I get the error “Setup cannot compile MOF file D:\SMS\bin\i386\SMS_schm.mof”

Does anyone know what this is or what is causing it or how to fix it?
