I keep hearing mixed messages about the IT outlook for future graduates. I am currently looking into getting my CIS degree in the next couple of years, but am getting confused with all this information on these forums. Based on my findings, these forums usually state that IT is in trouble…,but if you do job outlook search, IT is in the top 10 of best and fastest job growth through the year 2010. So who has a good understanding on where the IT market is right now.
Personally, i want to get a great job that pays decent when i first start… not a low paying entry job. Going to college for 5 years isn’t my cup of tea if itsn’t going to get me anywhere. (BTW, i am looking at jobs like system analyst and computer technician) I just need some advice. Thanks.
