Software for RFID Handhelds

Hello everybody,
I am looking for information regarding data capture applications for RFID-Handhelds. Is there any standard software or do you have to program it yourself? I only found information regarding the integration of stationary readers, but not for handhelds. Companies like SAP and IBM are offering middleware-like applications to integrate mobile devices, but is there also a software included which runs at the Handheld and offers GUI and filtering?
