Sorting Files under a Directory

Hi…
I have s small problem but coudnt find the solution till this moment. When i sort files (by name or date …) under specefic folder, it gets sorted. but when close the folder and open again, it returns back non-sorted … is there a way to reserve the sorting so i dont need to sort every time i open the folder..???
