Sound Card

I’ve installed W98SE on my hard drive from previously having W98, and surprise, surprise, the sound card doesn’t work anymore ! I’ve sussed out the monitor display software, and the modem software, but guess I’ve erased the software for the sound card. How do I find out what software to install ?
The PC has a PIII, motherboard is an Intel CA810E AAA01988-310.
