Sound card driver

I have a Creative Lab soundblaster PCI64 which ran ok on Windows 98.
I now have Windows ME and a new athlon thunderbird chip,I tried windows me driver,the original driver and downloaded drivers alas unable to find win me drivers on line.Visited Creatives site but could not get the driver to download properly, to execute, it came up with unable to find missing files.contacted Creative labs they were not very helpfull as they said my card was OEM.
The only problem I am getting with the windows me driver is that the mike for recording does not work.I do know it is working because some drives get it to “groan” and the response meter in voice test works on these drivers but the sound is crackly on playing cds with these drivers.
