Sound card won’t work

I have creative vibra 128 PCI sound card and this thing works fine with windows 2000. Recently i installed win98 and this card won’r work in there and giving a death blue screnn saying “The SBPCI interrupt has ben routed incorrectley by the system. audioPCI inactive. use automatic settings in the device manger” but alredy it’s default i tried to manually changed the irq but t won’t let me to do it and no IRQ conflicts iether. can anybody let me know what to do.
