spacebar goes to ” go to”popup window

In word and in hotmail when i try to type the space bar most of the time brings up the “go to” in the “find” dialog box from the scroll bar.
It is a toshiba satalite and I cant seem to find any macros for it.
I cant type at all now with this notebook
