Out of the blue my biggest, fastest and most
capable machine came down with a spyware trojan.
It loaded into the registry and the root files.
It started with a popup from the taskbar that I
couldn’t find in applications and would take me to a web site where the apparent preveyor or this
trojan offered to sell me the program to clean it out. A system restore to the day before the event happened and it was gone. I’m on comcast and a free subscription of macafee virus and
security suite stopped it from causing the popup
but continued to find it with a virus scan and
spyware plus adware cleans it out, but finds
the program every time I run the programs(daily)
This burns me, as the ISP could and should be
blocking this but they don’t. What can I do to even stop the loading of this program entirely??
