I am facing a tough situation for last two days. When I boot my pc it goes to windows (98), all desktop icons, start menu items, …, comes but a message box containing “Windows cannot find spool32.” comes out and asks to locate the spool32 program through a browse button. When I give the location “c:\windows\system\spool.exe” it again asks the same.
This mssg. box comes up everytime when I try to open any application through desktop icon or start menu. Even I am unable to run the “Run” command at Start Menu and any item at settings\control panel. I am totally helpless.
I have re-installed windows (98 SE) thrice in the same directory to save my application, but the situation is same. I have a lot of applications in my PC and I think if Itry Fress Installation of Windows, I could loose every application..!
Please help me and direct me what to do to save my applications.
