I will implement knowledge base fix Q199915 this afternoon on a Terminal Server running Metaframe.
This is to move the one HP 4050n printer to an LPR port and then remove Jet admin.
I will then remove Jet admin and reload Terminal services sp6.0
The problem has occurred since they moved office and also installed a new Infotech 4270 fax printer which does not use Jetadmin.
The existing HP laserjet 4.0 which was using jetadmin has been removed and all instances deleted from the server. They now have the following printers:
Infotech 4270 using ricoh AF270 driver to operate correctly in Metaframe.
HP 4050n to be moved to LPR port
HP2500 at remote office
HP4050n at remote office (not on jet admin)
Has anyone had any experience or encountered problems with this fix?
