Spoolsv.exe error

Windows 2000 Pro all of suddden began to receive following error any time try to print or even go into the printers folder and do anything.

“Program error”
Spoolsv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
an error log is being created.

This causes all computer to lose all printers. When reboot printer return.

Any suggestions?
