Sql 7.0

Hi,
I have a winnt4.0 platform running sql 7.0.
Lately my sql backups to tape have been coming up w/error code 22282. I can not find it anywhere on the books on line or ms website…the exact syntax is as follows:
“database northwind: database backup….
[microsoft sql-dmo] error 22282:[sql-dmo] the operation was cancelled by the user”.
