SQL Server 7.0 – xp_sendmail error

We have 4 7.0 SQL Server’s that have been upgraded to service pack 2. One of the servers will stop sending e-mails after 1 to 4 days. It does not log an error message and the job that is sending the message continues to run. Some (but not all) messages continue to be sent from the server. All four of these servers are using the same e-mail account and are logged into the network with the same login ID.

I can trace the occurrence of the error to a specific date, March 5, 2001. No updateswere made to this server within a month of this date. This server has also had disk space issues. It does not have this issue now.
