SQL Server setup, unexpected error

I have an question about SQL Server setup. I’m using win2000 server. After I have selected all options and entered the admin password and chose windows authentication mode during the installation, the setup program should start to install (copy andinstall file). However, the setup program closed and returned back to desktop unexpectedly. No error message has been pop up. sqlstp.log ended with ’16:35:03 Begin Action: DlgCollation’ with no error messages noted.

On the other hand, I have succeeded install it in other computers.

Can anyone tell me what to do?
