SSI as default doc. in IIS5

Hi all, if I map “.html” to serve SSIs the Default Document (index.htm, index.html…) does not work. I get a “401 Authentication Required” back and the log reads (“GET /index.html?Failed to process SSI file ‘/index.html’

Any ideas?
