Stand Alone HDTV Tuner

What Stand alone HDTV tuners are best for using with the HD ready tv’s the industry sold us last week. I don’t want to fund cable or satalite company execs. retirement any more! I just want to pull the signal right out of the air and remain off grid. Since the Govt. is discontinueing non HD signals what add on tuner is bests and where to get it? All help and opinions greatly opreciated. Maybe Tech Republic would like to do an article and comparison of products offered?
