I upgrade my NT workstation to Win2K pro. It takes a few minutes to start up. The evidences:
1. During upgrading process, when I got “setup is starting windows 2000…”, it will no action for a few minutes (no disk indicator light). Whenever the disk light blinks, it will go very fast. At first few trials, I just turned off the computer, thought it was freezen. One time I leave it along, and it did go.
2. Now after the upgrade is done, same long waiting for me in the start up. I think it took 2-3 minutes to have the blue screen coming, after that, it is quick. Again, during the waiting time, no disk activiity.
So I guess that I have disk problem. Is it right?
Thanks!
