Start-up Problem.

I have an IMB Thinpad laptop. After the memory test it displays a message and then it just stays there or hang. The keyboard also does not respond after that. The displayed message is:

0175: Bad CRC1 Stop POST Task

Can you guys please confirm to me whether it is a hard disk error or something else. Is there a way I can fix this problem?
