Start up profiles

I have a machine that has a permanent Internet (DSL) connection. I would like to have a second profile that instead of using the static IP it uses I would like to attach it to my local network which has a DHCP server. Instead of manually changing the IP properties is there a way to choose a profile on start up so that depending on which profile, it will either load the static IP or in the other profile option from the DHCP server?
