Starting Up Password

I gave my cousin a ps1 (win3.x) computer. I had installed and running Win95 on it. Problem is…she boots up the computer and she gets a black screen and a blue box asking for a password up to 7 characters to continue on. It sounds to me that it is in DOS mode. I dont know the password to get out of that. She cant use the mouse to close anything out. If i reinstall 3.1 …it will probably override the Win95 file. I just need someone to help me figure out how to bypass that DOS mode password boxon bootup!!
