Status date in Report

I am supposed to run a Project status report every Friday, and let’s say, if I forget to print a report (which by default has a title that says as of Status Date)
Now, two days later I want to run the report as if I am running it on Friday (two days ago), I change the in Project Information dialog..(there by it recalculating progress lines..) however, when I run a particular report, the date still shows up as the current date
Is there a way to run a report which is as good as running a report two days ago? (ofcourse, I do not want to change the System date on the machine)
