Sun Solaris 2.6 and DNS

I need to install the DNS service on our local Sun workstations, which are tied to our local corporate intranet. I have the DNS IP addresses, and have modified the /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/nsswitch.conf files. It still does not work. Are ther otherservicesthat need to be installed? How can I check if they are running?

By the way, I have 20 local NT workstations, and one NT server which work fine.
