SUWIN GPF err USER.EXE module 0001:2819

Hi,
I am trying to install win98 and i am getting a SUWIN General Protection Error in module USER.EXE at address 0001:2819. Processor is a Cyrix 6×86 233MHz , 32MB EDO RAM, 4.3GB Fujitsu HDD,HP CD-Writer, not sure what kind of motherboard.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
