synchronizing user “my documents” (folde

Many of our user do not backup their “my documents ” folder to the network. So I am trying to find some information on who to make this function happen by putting them into a group in the MMC.Not all my users (remote users) log into the network so Iwould like create a group and have their folders sync when they log off. Any help or a steer in the right direction would be a great help.
