Syncronize/delete cached credentials?

Since we switched using active directory I have a problem with changing the password on my laptop. Our domain passwords expire at set intervals. Mine just expired and I changed it from my desktop PC. The next time I docked my laptop(with the laptop connected to the network via the dock), I entered the new password, but it wouldn’t accept it. It would only log me onto the notebook with the old password. Of course this logon (with my old password) is no longer valid for network access, so every time I try to access file servers, mail etc, it prompts me for a user id and my new password, which is annoying. How can I get the notebook logon password back in sync with my new domain logon password (without deleting my user profile)?
