System clock keeps losing time

I have a Compaq Presario 233MHZ MMX computer that keeps losing about 15 minutes a week. I have relaced the battery but it still loses time. My current OS is Win Me but I ran Win 98 SE with the same results. Please help me as I’ve ran late many a time by trusting this clock.
