System Crash

On my exchange server that’s using NT 4.0, I have the alert “Windows NT could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt. \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMHardware Profile/Last Known Good menu. I tried to repair this from the NT setup disk and it told me that no hard drives could be found. Can I recover/repair this without losing any info and how?
