System Does Not See Itself

We have networked peer to peer systems using Win95. One system sees it self and can access the other machine on the network. The problem machine when you go into network neighborhood does not see it self or anything on the network(the one other machine). we have removed and reinstall all of the networking software. Anybody have any suggestions?
