When I recently shut down my computer and walked away it booted up automaticly seconds later, to my surprise I turned it off again and the same thing happened. So I turned off the Power Supply’s main switch.
The morning after I could not power up the computer at all, main power switch on but nothing happens when trying to power it up. LED’s on the Mother Board is still lit up though (after turning main switch on).
I dusted off all my fans including CPU-fan and reseated all my cards (Graphics, RAMS and processor) Still did not work.
So I tried to change the Power Supply unit (to a more powerful 580W) and now I could power on but now my system gets stuck just after the memory is tested. All fans and HDD’s spins.
Any Ideas what might be the problem? Im thinking that my MB or CPU got fried.
