System Hangs

My system has been working fine til I moved across country and started using it again. I can’t seem to figure out what could possibly be the problem. At random, my system will hang. The LEDs on my disc drives will light up as well as the LEDs for my hard drive and CPU activity. This is not a software problem because it happens regardless of the OS. This happens whether running Linux or Windows. Sometime when trying to power on my system it will just light up the LEDs and not show anything on the monitor. Sometimes I have to power on and off multiple times before it finally boots like normal. What are some possibilities?
