System restore points pointers

Ok, you are monitoring all of you drives, and you are making systems restore points every month, or before major changes or software installs thinking you can go back at any time, right? Wrong, XP purges the restore dat when it exceeds the allocated amount available. Back up your data files and the restore directory at the minimum if you are not using a backup.
