There have been recent articles on placing icons in the system tray and also on etiquette or rules concerning under what conditions to use these
procedures. However, this begs the question of how to remove the icons that already exist.
Some applications, such as Webshots, allow you to remove the icon by deselecting it in the properties configuration. Other applications,
such as Atomica, do not provide this option. Short of uninstalling the application, how would you remove the former? Is there a way during
installation to prevent icon insertion into the system tray, maybe through temporarily hiding the system tray from the application?
