Taped over video

I taped over my daughters college graduation with my sons Eagle Scout ceremony. Is there any way I can retrieve the graduation and keep the Eagel Scout Ceremony. The tape was a Fujifilm DV mini cassette. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
