TCP/IP Buffer Space in Win2KServer

by ben . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

I am configuring a Win2K server- not really my area of expertise, but its a good opportunity to learn..!

I keep getting errors, however, which I assume are to do with TCP/IP. Specifically, failures to initialise from my Mail Server service (FTGate from FloosieTek) and to connect to various TCP/IP based services/tasks (ie everything of much consequence – Explorer browsing the network, IE, all sorts)- even itself! Reports vary from “Unable to initalise service due to insufficient TCP/IP buffer space” to an informative dialog that states “Insufficient Quota to perform this operation”. I must be doing something wrong. But what is it..?

Any ideas/help much appreciated,

Ben Thomas.
