TCP/IP & MVS OS390 V2.10 Compatability

Recently we upgraded our MVS mainframes to OS390 V2.10. FTPs from some of our UTS machines to the MVS boxes were taking up to 8 hours for what use to take only 45 minutes. Has any other OS390 mainframers experienced this problem?
